Telegram over WhatsApp??

I have been a user of Telegram for over 5 years now, and I have to admit that the main reason I don’t use it exclusively is because most of my friends and family are on WhatsApp.

I much prefer the Telegram application, along with its Desktop and Web Apps, to WhatsApp; simply because they always have features before WhatsApp does, and the app is vastly more simple to use, but even I didn’t understand just how insecure the application was.
